My dog frantically searching the house.....neurological problems

Hello, I have a 6 year old English Bulldog that is having occasional "manic" fits, usually at night.  She is getting up and frantically searching the house for something that isn't there.  She checks every room multiple times and this lasts at least an hour.  Seems that she only stops when she has completely worn herself out.  Today, she has been like this (frantic, manic) most of the day.   Drinking a lot of water at point during the day. It seems neurological.  Overall, she's healthy, no major allergies, hasn't gotten into anything and hasn't been exposed to anything we can link to these episodes.   Researching online and "complex focal seizures" (from canine-epilepsy.net) seem to reflect her symptoms.  Vet is getting a call tomorrow, but anybody have any experience with this?  We are getting worried.  Thanks.

I think the vet visit is a must...

something is obviously going on with her.  I wonder if Rescue Remedy would calm her down a little, we use it on our guys if they are stressed in any way.  Hope you can find out what's going on and it's something fixable.  You can buy RR at any health food of Whole foods type stores.  I put a whole dropper full right on the tongue.
