Mucus discharge
Submitted by CobraCity on July 12, 2017 - 1:05amCame home from work and noticed my dog had a few globs of mucus around her vagina. Cleaned it up she seems to be doing fine and haven't noticed it for a few hours.
Just wondering if anyone has ever dealt with this and if so what was the cause
I did catch her drinking some of our blue toilet water the other day. Not sure how much but making sure to keep the lids down
Has she been spayed?
If not, she could have pyrometria which can be lifethreatening. If she is spayed, it could be an infection. Either way I think I would see the vet.

I would definitely take her to the vet.
With her not being spayed there is always the high possibility of Pyometra (Infection in the Uterus) very dangerous. It could also be a UTI. Please take her in.
