This may be a breakthrough I hope

I have been in the middle of switching over Sherman's food and by tomorrow he will be on 100% new food. He has been doing allergy type things. Paw licking, shedding, dry nose, congestion ect..  Well today his congestion was pretty bad and I said screw it. While he's doing it I'm taking him to the vet so they can hear it. Made an appointment and was there an hour later. (He had been given clavamox before because my vet suspected kennel caugh but that day she had to go off of my description of symtoms because he wasn't doing while I was there) well now lately it still continues. Today the vet (different vet at same office who is known for his short snout knowledge) took a look and said he has a normal soft palette from what he could see and lungs sound fine. He suspects worms and now he is being dewormed for three days and  I have this medication. Anyone else ever had such a thing?mi hope he's right because maybe his allergies aren't as bad as I think and maybe he's paw licking cause of worm discomfort and congested from worms and so on.. Hope so. This has been driving me nuts.

I should add

That now I was just doing some research and a lot of those symptoms are also symptoms of worms. Even the dry nose. I hope that's what it was because then it would clear up and I may not have to worry about him getting into every little speck of food or allowing him a treat once and a while from another dog owner and so on..

No, haven't had experience with this, and with ALL

the reading I've done about bullies, I  know *zilch* about worms  and Meaty and Sophie haven't had congestion issues...... I just hope

Sherman gets better, poor guy!  We have a verrry bully-knowledegable vet, and sometimes he will admit he just does NOT know what

could be causing something----(gotta love his honesty!).....so there's lots of trial and error with some things.

....

P.S....I like "short snout knowledge".....I'll bet our vet would get a kick out of that!!!  :-)

but wasn't he dewormed and

but wasn't he dewormed and vaccinated already when you got him?and what does he mean he didn't know?
make sure that your vet is knowledgable w/bulldogs...not just any vet will do...this is how i lost my archie

Yes

But he had to be dewormed the normal first check up and then 1 more time because I kept seeing them in his poop. (Roundworm) And that was me saying idunno. He said no he doesn't have any sickness like uri or pneumonia because he has no fever or any lung noise.
