Inflammed rectum

I cut the grass down to the ground a week ago and orgot about the issue. Tonight Bosley started twitching his rectum so I would take notice. We used a warm compress and followed up with preparation-h.
Anyone have any suggestions. He may also have swallowed part of a toy he destroyed in record time. In the past these have passed with no effect. Pretty soon he will be down to zero toys as he is so destructive. Thanks for any suggestions or experience you could share
Is he still eating and
passing excrement/urine as normal? If not get him to vet right away. Obstructions can be really serious.
