Help scooting, allergy??

HI my baby is sitting with her legs out and does like a hula dance on her behind and will get up and run and hide after.. she does lick and chew her paws, vet did the anal glands, still scooting right away, also he said to try benadryl twice a day for a few days it has subsided a bit but she still does it especially when its time for another benadryl.. I have her on Zignature trout and salmon, just switched a couple of days ago from taste of the wild pacific stream thinking it might be the potatoe.. so I am hoping for a miracle.. could my girl have a yeast invection? she has no tail the rescue amputated it before I got her as it was badly infected.. her butt is clean I dont see any worms.. I feel so bad for her. Any advice please?

Just because her tail is gone...

Doesnt mean there isnt a tail pocket:-) You need to make certain, check out if there is any divit or cavity above the anus and just under where her tail would have been. Chaeck that first...

reg tail pocket

I will check when I get home thank you.. if there is what can I do about it?  or how do I make it so it doesnt bother her?  Sorry I have owned another bulldog but he didnt have a tail pocket just the allergies and dry eye

One of our guys had a tail pocket.

The pocket was little over an inch deep.  The main thing you want to do is keep it dry and clean.  I buy the BambooStick Jumbo Cotton Swabs and dab some Desitin on it and rub the inside of the tail pocket when it is red and irritated.  You can also squirt some Gold Bond in there with one of those ketchup picnic bottles with the long tip.  I also use Otomax...even though it is used for ears.  My vet gives it to me for ears, folds and tail pocket.  To get the Otomax into the pocket the vet gives me the small syringes that are used for small dogs and cats.  The syringe is small enough to get the medication in there.
