D E w/calcium
Submitted by Cory on February 26, 2013 - 9:26pmI've seen in a few of my readings on the net that some people are feeding D E to their bulldogs an I was wondering would this be a good idea for me cause I live in the city ? I've read that its good for energy transfer an intestinal enzymes an stuff but I was wondering how everyone here felt about it an your input cause I'm new to feeding raw an I know there's got to be parasites an stuff. I've read that this stuff gets rid of all of them???? Any feed back would be really appreciated.

Parasites come from the ground, not from food. I give her DE in the summer to control intestinal parasites to keep her immune system healthy.
I do not think the minerals in DE are bioavailable to dogs. It pretty much comes out in the same form it goes in, but kills parasites with no chemicals or side effects on it's trip. :-)

I'm just trying to keep Penelope healthy an I'm new to raw. I'll feed DE in the summer to keep her free of parasites an keep her system healthy too, again thank you
