Submitted by countrylane on November 16, 2013 - 7:11amMy 5yr old Sadie has white goop that comes out of both eyes. We wipe it several times a day. It is like sleepers in peoples eyes. I also think that the one eye is a little cloudy. Can dogs get cateracs? Thanks

I would have the vet take a look at her, she could have an ulcer starting. Or she could have dry eye and need daily medication. Eye problems can be painful and they can deteriorate quickly.
My thought is an ulcer as well.
But you need a vet to diagnose it. Don't let it go more than a day or so, it can get a lot worse in a short time.
