My bulldog champ also has the same type of red bumps/pimples on his chin and around mouth area..I was wondering if the methods listed in the post below worked. They seem like they are sore to him...Ive been treating it with an neosporin type ointment trying to help it heal...I assume its from his mouth staying wet after eating and drinking so Ive started wiping his mouth after meals. Let me know if anyone with the same problems has had a successful solution. I feed him in a stainless type bowl..with an plastic water bowl attached if that help any.
Thanks for yor help
Thanks
Thanks guys and gals for all your help..I'll try the listerine thing and let you know how it develops. He just turned 8 months by the way.

pimples
try switching to a water botle .it worked for my 15 mouth old bulldog.after six rounds of atibotics, and a lot of money ,it was the only other thing left to try.

Mason has that too
Mason has bumps on his mouth too. I was the one that posted the last message on it. I have been using wipes to dry his face and it seems to be clearing up. I just changed his food so he is still trying to get use to it so I assume it shall clear up soon. I am going to try the mouth wash thing if it gts worse. Mine is only 8 weeks old.

It sounds like pyoderma ...
One of my bullies has this. The best solution is probably to use regular listerine on the area and wipe his mouth after he drinks water. The only concern is whether it looks like pustules and has moved to a bacterial infection. I've been down that road too many times!

I also use listerine (gold one).. daily until it clears up..
it helps to dry up the infection.. these are similar to acne :O)

We just dab it with plain brown Listerine...
Chester had that a week ago and now it's gone.

Re: Red bump..pimple..on chin
how old is he and he should drink out of stainless too. Get some baby wipes to wipe his face after he eats. Jackson had this too and they said it was acne, but when I changes his food they went away.
