Interdigital cysts
Submitted by jenana749 on April 21, 2010 - 12:39amI have been looking at similar posts regarding interdigital cysts and was wondering if this is what my bulldog has. I am attaching a picture of one of his front paws where you can see the red inflammed area.
I appreciate any suggestions and recommendations of the best treatment!

Yes, check the area really well with magnifying glass if you have one to make sure there is nothing stuck in the paw (grass seed etc) It can also be caused by ingrown hairs. I soaked our Bully's paw 2 x's per day in warm water with epson salts, applied antibiotic ointment on it. Cleared up in about a week. I've heard that preperation H works but it didn't for me.

witch hazel
put it on a cotton ball, wipe the top of the foot and under and between the pads. It should go away in a few days. dont let him lick his foot if he doest spay with bitter apple. They also dont like the taste of witch hazel.
