Submitted by roanne9145 on April 21, 2010 - 12:40amNot sure I spelled it right. Has anyone had any luck with this surgery? My daughter had it done to her girl at a year old and it really didn't help. Is there anything I should know about this surgery? Any advice would be appreciated.

Have had this type of surgery done on five of my dog. Bullies and shar-peis. I have had no doubt that this surgery has done great things with my dogs. No problems whatsoever after the surgery. BUT I did have them all done my a specialist.

One of my girls had the surgery
About 6 years ago on all 4 lids. She did great and hasn't had any other issues.

She had it done on one of her dogs and they just rolled back in again. That's why I wanted to know if anyone had better luck with it. She did see a specialist and they told her to have the surgery. I myself have never had a dog that needed it.

What problems is she having? Has she been seen by an Opthamologist?
