Bumps and lumps

I have a 4 month old puppy who is very happy and very healthy. Although, I have recently noticed small bumps or lumps on his back. They dont seem to be affecting the dog or making him itchy in anyway. Its almost as if the lumps are under the skin. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank YOU !!!!!

I'm so glad you are going to get it checked out. I'm aalways happy to pay the bill when I am told there is nothign wrong wiht my dog !!! Pleae let us know what the vets says.

bumps and lumps

I have contacted our vet. I think I will be bringing him in just to be sure. It seems to be little bumps that look like mosquito bites. He has had shots recently but I dont think this is a reaction since the shots were about a week and a half ago. He is not itchy or seem affected by it at all. Off the the vet we go! Just to be absolutely sure.

Thank You for your insight!

well ...

Has he recently been to the vet for any shots ? I it the area where he got an injeciton ? Is he scratching at it ? ANy more description than "lump" ? Could it be some kinf of an insect bite ? No lump can be ignorned. Sometimes they are harmless, like a little fatty tumor. sometiems they are things that disappear overnight and we never knwow hat tey are. But if my dog had a lump for more than 2 days and I coudl not attribute it to somethign logical, we;d have the vet take a look. Lumps can be harmless, ad they can also be somethign very bad. Don't wait TOO long ... have it looked at and have peace of mind.
