Can I just say something about my girl?

Stella is almost 10 years old and blind. Yet, every time I walk in a room she still gets up and gives me a full bodied bully dance. She climbs her little stairs and snuggles up to me on the sofa, always after giving me a little smooch. She sits next to me and begs for my food - no matter what I'm eating - without ever actually going so far as to touch me (although there is a lot of lip smacking). still follows me around the appartment and hovers when I cook in the kitchen. When she comes into bed with me she pushes herself up against me as tightly as she can, burrying her face in my belly and sighing with contentment. She I can feel she is happy, despite everything she's been through. She is one of the most remarkable beings I have ever met.
