I prefer this look much better. I think the nose is much better placed on this one (I know.. but they are pictures, thats all we have to go on......)The best way to tell if a muzzle is of correct proportion is to remember the line from the corner of the eye to the corner of the mouth. It does not quite match in the Leodride dog. Been a long time, Kim, I hope we get to see you in the ring again soon. e

What you see in the picture is not the short face you see on some of the bulldogs today. I am sorry I did not make it clear for you as I was not referencing to the lay back. If there is any oldtimers on this web maybe it can be explained to the newcomers.

i like the lenght, but would like to see a front and see
if the dog has the width too.
I like to measure the head to see if it is balanced

u are correct Kim, this is the length we should all strive for. The short faced dogs that we are seeing over and over are not correct. Lottie

Looks like a incorrect layback (too much forehead?) and the nose should tip back.. That just my opinion thou..
