Meet Bronx--also known as Baby Bear.  He is an 8 year old bullie who was surrendered to rescue at the age of 3 after his parents had a human baby.

Baby Bear has a reputation for being ... well.... basically a wild bear kept in captivity. He loves to be ornery and is often found climbing on things he shouldn’t. He sleeps on top of his crate instead of inside of it. And he can often be found sitting on top of a table.

He finally calmed down enough at the age of 6 to become a therapy dog like his big brother. Although he enjoyed therapy work (especially when little old ladies ogled over him at the nursing home), he would rather be getting into mischief. He loves kayaking, going to the water park, and swimming at the lake. In his younger days he also was great at agility! He missed the memo at birth that he was a bulldog and not a Border Collie. He even tried dock diving once! (Yes just once when his Border Collie friends tricked him into it). As he’s gotten older, he’s definitely embraced his bulldog nature and their innate love of naps.

Having spent his younger days partying in South Florida, Bronx now resides in Indianapolis with his 2 moms, 4 bullie siblings, 2 cats, and a bird. He is chief home inspector for Hoosier Bulldog Rescue. It’s a very important job - If the potential adopter squeals in delight over him drooling, shedding, and rolling around their house, they’re definitely a bulldog family and get a stamp of approval! It’s a tough job, but some-bullie has to do it!
