Our Gunther seems a little depressed. I find it hard to tell with a bulldog. They always have their big puppydog eyes and sad faces, so I don't know if it's him or just the breed.

Thanks to some unexpected serendipity and the fine folks @ HeavenSent Bulldog Rescue we are now the proud, adoptive family (on a temp to perm basis) of one 5 month old bulldog who will henceforth be known as Ike.
We like Ike.

If you do, we is gonna be neighbors!! Woohoo, finally moving to Texas next month!

since Rocky is off all meds, his face & feet are itching like crazy, can I give him benadryl??? he is a slim 74 pounds, what dosage should he take, thanks every one

Well - just when I thought things were good....Ace has the abscess again. I came home last night and it had started. The GOOD about this time...one of his "holes" left from the drain last week is still a bit open, so when I push on the abscess - it oozes out - so I am able to get some of that junk out every couple of hours. My son is home with him today - playing mini vet. I called the vet in GA and am awaiting a call back. Will probably be taking him in zero dark early tomorrow morning for surgery...and hopefully this will be IT!

a wreck.....please pray that it goes fine...I get sooo nervous putting one of them under anesthesia for any reason....and I again reiterated to them NO ACE!.....I will post again after I hear from the vet's office...thank you for always being there for us!....We love you all!
