Twister's Florida sleeping quarters....(-pics)

Since there are quite a few of you with new babies....I thought I'd share something I recently learned from dog trainer Susan Garrett about what she does when she brings home a new puppy.

Susan suggested crating the pup at bed level so it can see you, hear & smell you - which in turn helps to comfort the pup in it's new home...I had planned on crating Twister at night next to my side of the bed, but I would have never thought about putting his crate at bed level - I think (and hope) this will make a big difference to him

The more I think about Michael Vick, the more I think

it's just not possible to "change" from someone who is able to TORTURE another living creature into someone who is caring and compassionate. I think there has to be be something missing from you, something most of us possess, thankfully, if you are able to do something so heinous in the first place. I would thinkh he is a sociopath. I really don't see any true emotion from him in the interviews.
Just my opinion. I know we all feel strongly about this topic.

Found out Maybull is a true Southern Belle.

I fixed shrimp and grits for dinner tonight and we had a couple of spoons of grits left so I gave them to her with her food. She just gobbled it right down and stood there with this look like: "Ok, where's the rest of it?"

does he look overweight??

Do you think my boys will get sick?

Here's the story.

I got my petfood delivered to my house every 6 weeks. With each delivery I always find a little surprise in the form of a treat, a sample of food, a toy etc.

Well, the delivery came today and my husband opened the box and put everything away. As usual there was the free surprise. He gave it to them and they LOVED it. Could not eat it fast enough and were looking for me.

I went over to see what they were so excited about. Well, the treats were for CATS!!!!! Tuna flavor. Men. they dont read!!!

Tips on training Bubba to use indoor potty in emergency?

The indoor potty (synthetic grass) came a few days ago. I want to keep it in my new apartment in Boston in case Bubba really has to go and I am not home. I hate the thought of him having to hold it. I told him to go potty on it today and he looked at me like "are you crazy? go potty inside?" and walked out the dog door. My mom thinks I should lock the dog door and put it in front of the door but I feel bad. Anyone have experience training an adult/housebroken dog to use an indoor potty in an emergency?
Thanks.

bullie food that taste the best to them???

I've been using Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison, and everthing is ok, good poops etc. But Mack is not crazy about his food, I'd like to see some excitment at dinner time! I do not overfeed so that is not the issue. I've been adding ots of "goodies" to tempt him but even those do not do the trick. So what is the most flavorful yummy and tasty bullie food out there? I don't care about cost, just want to see my bulie excited at dinnertime!!!!
