Here's our future bulldog puppy, Quigley.

We went to meet our soon-to-be puppy today. We're naming him Quigley. He's 5-weeks old right now. We'll bring him home in mid-May. Isn't he beautiful? We think he'll make a great little brother for Margie.

My 10 week old pup is biting too much!

Hi everyone!

My name is Priscilla I'm new to the English Bulldog world. I picked up my baby Bruno when he was 8 weeks old; he'll be 10 weeks old this upcoming friday and his biting habits are becoming difficult (and painful!!!). I simply walk by him and he's going for my toes, my sneakers, my fingers, my arm, etc. Can anyone give me some word of advice on how I can curb this? I know he's teething and I've purchased a few Kong toys for him but he seems to love flesh lol! Help!

SergeantMajor

Thursday a week ago we just about lost our baby. He had a regular vet visit and after an hour wait he had worked himself into a mess. Long story short he just about died in the waiting room while my wife was trying to get someone to help. They were really dense there. When she finally got some help the girl tried to take him and weigh him. Needless to say I was not happy. I left work and went down there and he looked awful. He had agrivated his throat and couldn't breath well which caused him to overheat. I made the decision to get him out of there and take him to an emergency vet.

Dont' Blink!!

They are growing in front of my eyes! Im afraid to blink! Here are a few new photos. Like all Bulldogs they are always hungry and dove in the bowl the first time we tried soft kibble and milk replacement.

Update on the foster bulldog, Margie

Well, little Margie is doing better. She still is terrified but by fewer things. We go for walks and she's learned that the sooner she does her business, the sooner she'll be going home, usually. We have gone longer walks but a lot are for 1/2 a block to about 4 blocks. She can be sneaky. If I don't take her home after a piddle, she's been know to fake a second piddle. (It's hard to tell at night.) ALSO, now that some of the snow is gone and there is some bare grass, it's clear that she prefers using the grass to do her business. She's still afraid of the back yard.

Excessive shedding please help

I have an Olde English Bulldog who sheds uncontrollably. It doesn't matter how much brushing I do. I've bought the Furminator & several other specialty brushes. I do get a lot off when brushing, but it doesn't change the shedding. This hair everywhere is driving me crazy!! This is my second OEB & both have done this but I've got to figure something out. The constant hair battle is tough!! If anyone has any tips, whether it be diet,product,supplement,whatever.. Please share. Thanks so much, Andrea
