Our society is full of it....it's always someone elses fault.

As for the above statement, my kids were taught to NEVER EMBARESS THE MAMA.....bad repercussions.......probably a lesson the Vick brothers never learned(doesn't excuse them tho even if they didn't) L

As a parent, I have to allow some slack for someone who grew up without responsible parents (or at least a responsible father), and I don't claim to know another's soul. I am inclined to give Michael Vick some slack, at least one last time. Nevertheless, if this is his brother and a parole violation, it does seem utterly incredible that people with sudden access to money most of us can only dream of continue to engage in self-destructive activities. Is there NO ONE to tell them that if you do X, Y will be the unfortunate result? Why don't they figure that out for themselves? It is not as if they don't have a ton of unfortunate examples to learn from. I think of all the lectures on morality and standing tall I gave my kids, and wonder if the absence of those lectures can lead to such stupidity. However, I have enough respect for my kids to think they would have figured out that certain things were self-destructive, even absent my intervention.
It IS kind of incredible how some of these people never seem to learn. Don't abuse women, dogs, drugs or anything else, and don't carry guns or break the law. Is that so hard to understand? I just don't get it. Maybe it lies in the fact that to most of us, jail would be a shame from which your extended family would never recover, but to some of these people, it is routine.
oh nice....runs in the family
I should have known. My dh passed on this info
and he can't hear worth a lick!!!LOL
Why does he deserve slack?
he totally violated those dogs in a most heinous manner...you would be sick if you knew/saw what he did.

I don't think he is sincere in his bid to be reinstated. Just my opinion.

To those who understand no explanation is needed. To those who don't no explanation is possible.
I think I speak for a lot of people here
