We found a house....it is temporary but a blessing! And we have no family in Texas, except a distant cousin on my side that is years younger than me and I have only met twice:-) Oh well, we want Texas, not so much family:-)

LOL!! Yes, we are moving to Weatherford....I love it already and haven't even seen the place:-) We are only renting for 6 months, we plan to find a piece of property and build as soon as we can. Hopefully I won't have to renew my lease...the house ain't quite what I have in mind for long term, but it is a blessing to even have a place for now! We have been looking since April!

So when you coming to visit me there? Hows about when we get our new house built, you just move on in!! I will teach you to ride....hahahahaha!!! You will have a blast!

in Burleson! Not too far away from Weatherford at all. Maybe an hour or less. We used to go the farmer's market there all the time and the big flea market they have there once a month. I got Maverick from a lady that lives in Aledo, which is about 20 minutes from Weatherford. I would love to meet up sometime

I may be taking another horse with me, but I don't know yet. I am care taking a mare with a really bad wire wound, and the owner is a young lady with little money and no place of her own to keep this horse. She is not allowed back at the stable she had been at when the injury occurred, but the new place she wants to put her may not want to do the extensive care for however long it takes the leg to heal. We are talking weeks and weeks.....I have had her since the ninth of August and am doing wound care/pain management daily.

I don't want to take this mare from her owner, but she may want to let me. Either way, I just want the mare to be ok. If that is with me, fine, if not, fine too:-)

Long story short, I need a bigger dang horse trailer!! Thank GOD we are moving to Texas and will be getting a bigger piece of ground for all these critters!!!

we think we have his back figured out my son researched and said it might be is facet joints in his back...he needs a cat scan to see and if thats it going to the chiropractor is great, and physical therapy...slowly he is getting more use of his back...thanks:)

Weatherford is west of Dallas/Fort Worth. I will be down near the ocean sometimes when I go riding with my group on the beach....maybe we can visit on one of those trips:-) That would be fun!

But with 5 horses, and possibly a 6th being added to the gang, I need more than 10 acres!! We are ultimately looking for about 200 or more acres to build a house on. We will also be putting a house up for my daughter and her family, so we need some room to move a round. Plus, I want a big barn...I got BIG dreams baby!

LOL! Hugs to the gang....sorry Jim is still having back pain. I hope he gets some relief soon:-(. Praying for you guys...
