No, they said that is the only way she "could" be able to hear.
Not that she will hear. I researched Cochlear Implants and they only help a profoundly deaf person be able to sense sounds, not completely hear them. It won't make her able to hear like we do, but will enable her to get a sense of what sounds are.
I am not sure about all of it yet, this was only one text message I got from my daughter a while ago.

Audrey will not qualify for hearing aides, the only thing that will help her hear will be Cochlear Implants. not sure about much more than that right now, my daughter only texted me that much.
