Veteran's Day
Submitted by Stephanie and David on November 11, 2011 - 12:32pmFor those who don’t know why we honor veterans on Nov. 11; This was originally Armistice Day, celebrating the end of WW I. The fighting in the trenches ended on Nov. 11th at 11:11 am. It was called the War to End All Wars. Before WW I, wars seemed a great adventure. The new mechanized war changed that. The name was changed after WW II, to honor all veterans.
