Need help transporting a special needs spina bifida puppy

Hi everyone! I am needing help trying to get this sweet boy from Columbia Falls Montana to here with me in North Carolina. We have looked into getting someone to fly out here with him but it would cost around $1000 so I have been trying to figure out another way to get him here. He is only 10 weeks old and is currently with the breeder and she is keeping him in the garage which it is already getting below 0 in Montana so i'm sure he is getting cold. If you or someone you know could help get him here please email me at luckystarr04@hotmail.com . I have also looked into show people in Washington seeing if they were coming to nationals and would be willing to bring him with them but have had no luck so far. We only have a few days to figure out how he is going to get here because the breeder is wanting to get rid of him ASAP.

why isnt the breeder paying?

dont get me wrong i have 4 spina bifida puppies...and charlie was being given up by a breeder...well they had just had a litter plenty of money thier...this breeder should be paying as mine did......i hope all works well...did you post on the sb yahoo page...they might be able to get a transport going....

Thanks but obviously this breeder doesn't care because she had even mentioned putting him in cargo. Doesn't look like he will be making it to NC because now the breeder said she would rather not transport him because if the people transporting have dogs she was scared he would catch something since he isn't old enough to of had all of his shots. Umm but she thinks he wouldn't catch something in cargo..its also too cold in Montana to even get him in cargo anyways so don't know how she was planning on putting him in cargo..not that I had even thought of putting him in cargo because of all the horror stories i've heard. This had been posted on the sb yahoo page too but don't guess it will help since the breeder just sent me a message saying she didn't want him transported via car :(

Fly out there, he can ride back in a Sherpa under your seat. Put him in a diaper for the duration of the flight.

lady I sat next to had her cat with her, except the cat was in a tiny kennel that fit underneath the seat. It didn't bother me none and I'm sure people around you won't mind either. Unless they have allergies...but who cares about that...they can stand the flight for a few hours with the sniffles :)

She said she would either fly him cargo or someone fly him out here or us fly there to get him. The cheapest flight I have found is $680 plus tax and whatever fee for him and I also have to pay for his health certificate..the breeder is not paying for anything so I have to somehow figure out how to come up with the money to get him here because at the moment I don't have it :(

you when you get there and does not change her mind and waste your time and money. Is there anyone that is in that area that could take possession of the pup before you get there to make sure that she really will give it up. If she is willing to stick it in a freezing garage and send it cargo but not allow it to be transported by car ...... red flags to say the least. I do hope you can save this poor pup.

The "breeder" insisting on cargo transport sounds like she is avoiding having any contact with anyone taking him. If she is for real, she sounds like a true gem of a person. Leaving a pup in a garage?

I found this lady on facebook by seeing a woman post about this puppies littermate brother having spina bifida too and that his brother was looking for a home. After all of this though I think it is a scam because she was all for me getting him when she thought I was going to let her make the arrangements and give her the money to do the arrangements but when I said I would make the arrangements and fly out there to get him she said I could not have the puppy and she was letting someone else have him. I then got a VERY rude comment from the woman that owns this puppies brother..so i'm wondering if there is only 1 spina bifida puppy and they are trying to make a butt load off of it for it's care plus whatever their needs are (if this puppy might even have spina bifida!) So if you hear of someone looking to get a 10 week old spina bifida puppy please tell them to be weary..You can email me if you would like this ladies name for other people's safety at luckystarr04@hotmail.com. This woman also has a chipin page for the puppy that has already gotten to its home so watch out for it! I appreciate everyone's comments! Hoping if there actually really is a puppy that has spina bifida that it finds a good home soon and away from this woman that could obviously careless about him.
