Very sad news. Angela's bulldog PollyAnna has passed over unexpectedly.

Angela has been posting on Facebook, but for those who haven't heard, PollyAnna was feeling fine this morning but suddenly went into distress. She was rushed to the vet, but he couldn't save her. They suspect heart problems but aren't sure.

I'm sure that many will agree that PollyAnna Foster was a much beloved bulldog. Sometimes, a bulldog on our forums will become a favorite, a special bulldog who we all come to love. PollyAnna was one of those dogs. She was a sweet, wonderful, beautiful bulldog and we will all miss her.

Sending love to her family, Angela and Jim, Olive, Zoey and Pickles Foster.

It took me forever to come home tonight

Yes I talk to Angela this morning about Olive bitting Zoey pads. I told her Aunt Pollyanna will have to wacth out for her. Angela said Pollyanna had a good day. Had her nails done then went for a ride in her father jeep they come home then she went into distress and Jim rush her to the vet but it was too late. We never think some dogs are going to leave us. I broke down at work and had to just leave. People don't understand why you are faling apart and crying. Who cares. I waited forever to come to BDW today. I knew I would see that Rainbow with her name here and just what it means. It's not a dream it's for real when it's says the bullie name. One day I dread when I see Loulou or Bubba name their. I have been here for years and watching everyone who has lost their bullies I have knew here is so heartbreaking. I hate to say it but there is only a few left I will not say any names. Mine are right up there on that list as well. Please everyone huge your babies tight. That is just what I am doing right now. For everyone who knows what I am talking about. give them a huge Hug and a kiss for me. Let's just pray that rainbow is not lite up for a long time. PollyAnna was a star in her own right. My Heart really goes out to Anglea we know PollyAnna was her heart dog. Just like all the others that has left us. At least we know the Great Ozzy Bear is there with his Bud Lite Select as well as all the other we love and lost. This is a very sad day.

Pollyanna is a legend among Bulldogs. She radiated love and kindness. I will miss her so much.

I know my Bulldogs, Jeeves and Angel will welcome and take care of Pollyanna in Heaven.

I wish I could give you a hug. I know you are suffering utter shock and heartache. Please know how much we love you and Pollyanna.

You think it's never going to happen but in the back of your mind you know it will sooner or later. PollyAnna was such an adorable bully, may she rest in peace and run free now !

one by one our orignal BDW beloved bulldogs are crossing the Rainbow Bridge. When my Zimmer passed Angela was kind enough to send me one of her beautiful portraits of my boy. So now Zimmer and many of the other BDW bullies will welcome PollyAnna. Rest in peace sweet girl.

My heartfelt condolences on this sad, sudden loss. I know the pain so well. When Mr. Higgins passed suddenly Dec 29, I was a mess, worse than my first bulldog. I actually went into a clinical depression and almost ended up hospitalized. I have bipolar disorder. My shrink said get another dog.

Well 6 days ago I rescued a bulldog mix. 1/2 bulldog and 1/2 cavalier king charles spaniel. First time I ever considered something other than a purebred bully. I am not suggesting this to you, but nothing can make me cry now. He has a cavalier head/face and bully body.
