So we did add a third Frenchie to our household. Her name is Penny and she is 3 years old. She was a rescue dog from an Amish puppymill and has had a few liters. She does get cysts between a few of her toes, but we soak those. The boys did an AMAZING job welcoming her into our home. I am so proud of them. Penny is a daddy's girl and took to my husband right away. If she doesn't want to do something she will roll to show her belly, for belly rubs. Everyone seems to be getting along well.
On a sad note we had to help our 14 year old cat to the rainbow bridge. He had kidney disease for two years and started to not eat a whole lot. His kidney values were okay in March, but then he stopped eating about week ago. We took him into the vet and they found a mass on his stomach. Our vet seemed to think it was lymphoma. He was down to 7lbs (he normally was 14lbs), and we already knew before going to the vet that he wouldn't be coming home. He was our first pet and had welcomed every animal that has come into our home.
