Shedding help!

I have an 11mo old Olde English Bulldogge, who is shedding terribly. Does anybody know of anything at all that could help some with this? He's my second OEB & although I know that's just part of it with this breed,I don't remember the first one shedding this bad. He is healthy(my brother is his vet & keeps us in good check).. But there has to be something to help??? Thanks so much for any info, tips,or advice!!

I would get him switched over to a really good grain free...

Just as a start. Not Iams or Science Diet, but a GOOD food like Natural Nalance or Blue Buffalo grain free or similar. Then, get Salmon oil capsules, they sell them at Wal-Mart and are called Norwegian Wild Salmon. Give one a day in food for 30 days, then one every other day in the food. That will help ease up the dry, shedding condition. Brushing will help immensely as well.

Good luck!

You could also try

Getting a furminator. They are expensive and I wouldn't brush your pup with it every time but they work. We also use salmon oil but we use stuff made for dogs.
