a question....

Phoebe who is now 8 months old is totally lacking in self control and has full blown impulsivity when it comes to  being around other people and dogs. It is to the point where I could be saying anything and it would not matter to her. Her attention is full on the object of her attention. I have no idea as to some things to try and get her focus off them and to help her calm herself and settle down. She loves them all. Is not one ounce of aggresstion just happiness and in a lets party mode. Any suggestions. This is also a problem when we walk and we meet people or dogs or kids or whatever. It is nuts!

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

I would recommend a training class...

lots of places have group sessions and they can teach you how to work on this.

we have done a session of classes...

at pet smart and are now just beginning a second set of 8 with a different trainer. so far they have  not been able to give me advice which will help to cal her. She basically learns little during the class as she is so focused on the other dogs and wanting to kiss them all. Really frustrating for me. At home one on one she is fine but when with others is nuts.
