Oh gosh, how wonderful for you!
I wouldn't hesitate to get a youngster like that! Do yu have other dogs? Just be sure to take it easy on the meet-and-greet part if you do. And he is of a good neutering age:-) Just saying!

We adopted Newman at 8 months...
it was a great age because he was all over the puppy biting and other behaviors. We had to work a little on housebreaking because he was a kennel dog, but he caught on quickly. He's a total love now. In fact, we adopted his sister last year!
