So about me.  I'm Shannon, I just got married in December to "the dude" as Winston refers to him.  We bought our first house together in the burbs of Kansas City last March.  I've been away from BDW for almost that long, but I'm getting back up to speed.  Winston is our bulldog and tomorrow is the 3rd anniversary of his "gotcha" day :)  I never knew I could love a dog as much as I love him...bulldogs really do steal your heart.  I am a rescue volunteer and do as much as I can to help bulldogs in need (from short term fostering, to fundraising, to pick ups from shelters and owners, to transporting, to phone interviews and home visits of potential adoptive families).  It can be stressful and sad at times, but getting to see the "happy tails" at the end of their time with rescue makes all the heartache in between worth it.

I am Chelle, married to my husband of 20 years, Pat.  He is Active Duty CG so we move alot!!  I am the Fur mom to Farley the EB, Ida Mae the Boxer and Bubba a Texas Tom cat.  I have two beautiful daughters Hallie (19) and Caylin (14).  I work in fundraising for our local PBS station.

Shawn. I'm 34. Live outside of Philly about 15 minutes on the jersey side. I'm not not married but I have 2 kids named Sherman and Mouse. I'm and Audio Engineer/producer by trade. I have a fish tank and my favorite fish is a Frontosa for any of you fish nerds who know what I'm talking about. My favorite past time is paying vet bills lol

Ok, so im'm Katie or "Kate" as my hubby calls me. I live in Toronto Canada with my hubby David of soon to be six years. I work in special education for the local public school board and David is an engineering technician. We have two children, one human and one bully. Our daughter is now 19months and Tucker our "first child" is coming up on three years old.

my name is Peggy,i'm from Montreal,Qc (Canada),i just turned 42 yesterday and have been a real estate secretary for the last 12 years.

Last year as most of you know started off w/heartbreak as i lost my beloved Archibald...towards the end of last year my bf Steph and i 

found we were expecting our first child-i'm due june 28 and we recently found out it's a boy!!!

Well a little about myself. My name is Luis Jasso and I live in Colima, Mexico although I was born and raised in Gridley, Ca just north of Sacramento. I am married to my wife of 4 years Erika who is an attorney and we have a 2yr old boy who loves to play with his CHAPO. I am a physician and have established my practice here in colima. I have always wanted a bulldog since I was a boy myself but my parents never allowed me to have one, probably because of the cost or just because they like larger breeds, I grew up with a Doberman, then came a Rottweiler, then another Rott, and about 7 yrs ago I gave my parents two Neo Mastiffs who they adored, funny thing is now my father knows I have a bulldog and he tells me if you ever breed him you better give me one. Karma I guess.

So through a contact we came about CHAPO who has done nothing but bring joy to us, our son adores him and he loves him as well. We love watching our son try wrestling with CHAPO he always loses HAHA. But I realized that he was the dog for us about 2 months after we got him. I´ll tell you why. First we were really stressed with all the skin problems and food allergies ($$$$$) my wife almost made me give him up. :( NOOOOOOO. So one evening she takes our son and CHAPO for a walk and after about 15mins she comes home running through the door almost crying with chapo behind her all dirty and my son had a scared look on his face. What happened???? Turns out the neighbors dog got out HUGE BLACK LAB and very agressive, well he started running for my son who was between mom and chapo who was out in front. Well Chapo had something to say to that lab! STAY AWAY FROM MY BOY, almost took his cheek off, and now everytime we walk by that house and the dog is out, he turns the other way. From that moment on my wife practically kicked me out of the bed and Chapo took my spot JK, but in all honesty he is a huge part of our family now and we can´t imagine ourselves without him.

LOL......I'm Victoria, also called Torey.  Thankful to the Good Lord to be married to my teddy bear for 14 years and since we didn't have wittle humans of our own, we LOVE to spoil our nieces and nephews, and of COURSE---our fur babies Meaty and Sophie!  LOVE our families and miss them all. the. time. !!!! We had to move away because of hubby's career, but thank Goodness, his and my families are only a 7-hour drive away!  I'm a nurse and MANY days, I wish to be a Walmart greeter!  LOL!  I'm usually pretty cheerful and people tell me they love it when I make them laugh. I love to sing and scrapbook, too!  And YES, Meaty and Sophie each have their own scrapbook! ....I am seriously SOOO grateful for our "puppsh" (as I call them sometimes), I honestly NEVER knew I could love "a dog" THIS much!!!!!  I hope more people post----this is very fun to get to know everybully better!

I grew up with bulldogs and always wanted more. When David and I got married, 18 years ago, I told him that a bulldog would be part of our lives, or else. He'd never had a dog and didn't understand but within a week of getting Maybull, he was one of us – totally in love with Maybull and all bulldogs.

David teaches martial arts, expecially Tai Chi. I sell real estate and am a freelance journalist. Thanks to everyone who reads my column, Global Groceries, when I post it.

The martial arts training makes David strong enough to deal with winter.

We live in a 1 1/2 story home in Minneapolis.

Winter here is for the hardy, but summer is beautiful. We live near several large city lakes and when we walk Maybull in the summer, she loves to wade. We have a deck on our garage which is Maybull's favorite place when it's not covered with snow. Half our back yard is a vegetable garden. Maybull has learned not to go wander around in it.

As soon as the weather turns warm, we're on the deck. We got this deck when our garage burned down. We'd been saving for a new garage, and suddenly we had extra money to have a great garage. This is what we ended up with. Right now, it's covered with snow, but soon...

We spend a lot of summer evenings on the deck.

We like to cook – David is a genius with a grill – and try new foods, a hobby that turned into my column about exotic and foreign things to eat. I love photography – there aren't many photos of me because I'm always behind the lens, not in front of it.  I also like to read about history and I follow current events closely. We also like to travel although we haven't traveled lately. We don't want to leave Maybull.

But, it's exotic here in Minnesota, too. I'll bet a lot of you don't understand what this is...but some do. (They're cleaning ice dams off a neighbor's roof.)

But, it's our little bulldog, now 13-years old, who is the center of our universe. We LOVE you, Maybull.
