New bulldog puppy tips?

Hello! My husband and I just recently added an English bulldog puppy to our family. He's 9weeks old and the vet said everything looks great on him, eyes, nose, tail etc. We are really concerned with keeping him healthy and establishing good behaviors. He's been aggressive towards other dogs and very bitey when we play with him. I know he's in the chewing stage and we have lots of toys and we try to give him a toy everytime he bites. Is this normal? And does anyone have any other tips or advice on anything?

They can be very bitey at that age...

just keep redirecting him.   A good quality grain free food (we use Fromm and Zignature) is a must along with filtered water to prevent tear stains and skin problems.  Also, try to hold off on the rabies shot until he's 8 months old.  Their immune systems are stressed at 4 months from teething, etc., and adding the rabies shot can bring on demodex, not always, but sometimes.  You can also transition him to adult food by 6 months of age, bulldog pups don't need all the extra calories and protein of puppy food.  I'm sure others will have some advice also.  Congratulations, what did you name him?
