My fav boy has gone over the rainbow bridge

This is the forum I used to ask questions before I got my bulldog Toby. Sadly he is gone. He was taken by lymphoma on the 31st of August. He was fighting it for the last few months. He was responding to meds for a while then the last 2 weeks or so he deteriorated pretty quickly. I made an appointment for the 31st at 2pm for him to cross the bridge. However, he past at home by our front door in the morning. I didn't say my final goodbye before he past. I am so heartbroken about it.
Tomorrow will be his 8th birthday. I am so very sad. I will miss my boy so very much. Not sure if I can get another bulldog. If any of you remember Toby, thank you for all your support with my bullie questions and of course the fun times we had here.

we lost our Oscar to lymphoma at age 6 and I know how devastating it is. RIP big guy.

Bulldogs are special beings. They stay in your heart forever. But, after a while, the pain you feel will heal and you'll still have the happy memories.

I remember Toby. This site was buzzing eight years ago. I recieved so much help here for Kofi and I when she was a puppy.
I lost my sweet girl in April. I did something after that I never would have believed. While my heart was breaking, I began searching for another bulldog. I found a sweet male.
Kofi will never be away from my heart, but I believe Griffin is a tribute to her. He has truly been a tonic for my hurting heart.
We all respond differently to grief, but may your sweet memories of Toby bring you healing.

This is really hard when we lose our Babies. I know the pain all to well. Breaks my heart to see Toby went way to Soon, My Baby Girl is 8 now herself. I fear this day. But God only picks special people for his Babies. You were the best Daddy Toby Ever could of have.I do know he is still there with you just look. i see my Bubba in the winds in the trees when I just want to cry. I know your pain and You are in my prayers. I'm so sorry.
