hard that they hurt their toofies...(teeth). Sophie looks SOOO huge in this pik----Meaty is about twice her size, but you can't tell!

We learned the hardway, the ones split down the middle, they get out all of the 'good stuff' and it leaves sharp edges.
Try to buy the ones that are 'complete' and not cut down through the middle... they last ALOT longer :) and Less messy :)

2 things about antlers......
I was so excited to get this for Gracie because she literally chews through every toy, bone I get her. I tried the it because I heard how sturdy they were. Well, Gracie went crazy and loved it! I got the whole antler, not the ones that were split in half. although she loved it, after chewing it for a while it smelt so bad that I had to throw it out. I was gagging at the smell. Also, they are so expensive! Every time I go to the pet store Im tempted to buy another one because she really did love it. So now I buy her those femur bones - the plain white ones. They are the sturdiest bones I can find (and they don't smell - LOL)!!!
