Here are the answers to last week's survey

Home / Forums / General Bulldog ForumCouldn't find the time last weekend. Now, I'm answering.

The BEST pie is lamb pie.

What time do you get up in the morning? It depends where I'm working that day. Anywhere between 6:45 and 8:45.

Do you believe in life on other planets? Sure. Why not?

How do you take your coffee? With milk.

What do you do with the leftovers? I either have them for lunch or I use them as an ingredient. Left over beans and rice mixed with broth and left over chicken and browned onions an garlic and tomatoes make a great soup.

Camping out or luxury hotel? No camping.

What food could you absolutely never give up? Coconut.

Which smells better, gasoline or permanent marker? Marker.

What did you do today that you shouldn't have? Took a walk instead of writing an article. It was a beautiful 72 degrees sunny summer day.

Would you rather have blood drawn or get a shot? Blood drawn since I'm a 3+ gallon donor.

Tell the truth: Have you ever spied on someone? Sure. I'm a journalist.

How many different colors of underwear do you have? I can't count that high.

Who is the last person you had lunch with? My husband, David.

I've never heard of or had lamb pie...

Sounds interesting:-) What's in it besides the obvious?!

Think Chicken Pot Pie or Beef pot Pie but with lamb

Or think an apple turnover with a meat filling...any meat...I like lamb the best. Check the internet for a recipe.. I buy mine off the Russian or greek ladies at the local Orthodox churches.

ooooh, the yummmy, flakey dough that's

used for turnovers alone is yummy on its own....but filled with some meat and veggies sounds

pawsome, too!  I've never had anything but FRUIT filled turnovers----cherry and apple---YUM!

Now I'm craving some, with vanilla ice cream on top, of course!  :-)

Stephanie....you're making me CRAVE a nice

yummmmy, homeade soup that simmers on the stove all day!  :-)   I cannot WAIT

for Fall and WINTERRRR, when I ESPECIALLY love to make soups like the one you

describled!   But then---your post

honestly made me crave it so much, I may just make some anyway!  :-)  I'll just

try to IGNORE the 115 degree heat index outside.......UGH!!! ...

Soup

It's 72 degrees here. Soup is good food.

I would pay a gazillllion dollars for summer to END

immmmeediately!!   But even though it's unbeara-bull outside, the thought of homeade soup sounds fantastic to me!

I always think it's funny when people say they hate to cook or eat HOT foods in the summer, because I still cook

the same stuff  year-round.  Sure, I don't enjoy heating up the kitchen, but..we still want things like pot roast,

spaghetti, etc, no matter WHAT the temp is outside!  :-)..

....

ugh, I hate summer SO much!  72 degrees where you live----hmmm....may I invite

myself, Meaty, Sophie, and Professor to your house for a niiice long visit----just until October---pleeeze???

I didn't include hubby only because he doesn't hate it like I do!  LOL!  :-)

Our heat index on Friday was umm....about 115, with an actual horrific temp of 100-----welllll, our

precious Sophie had a vet appt in the middle of the afternoon when it's the WORST....!!  Thank goodness,

hubby was able to leave work and go, because when it's THAT hot, he carries them from

the car because the stupid parking lots and sidewalks are SO hot, we're afraid their paws

will get burned....

...

...

So, as I always say---I not only hate summer for selfish reasons; I REALLY REALLY hate

how hard it is on our precious bullies!!!!  I am SO tired of forcing them inside after

pottying!  They LOVE to be outside and feel the sunshine----sooo very sad that we can't LET them!
I say they LOVE it because after pottying, they lie down on the deck and look soooo relaxed!
