What a lovely, lovely story. Thank you for sharing this. My own sweet Millie is failing and I have to face the soon coming reality of letting her go. I thought I was dealing with it just fine, thank you, until I started sobbing 30 seconds into the narrative. Guess I should rethink my preparedness.

she certainly is in charge. more shy/anxious than tille or mack. we are still learning each other. i think she is more comfortable........she owns the house and has no qualms about laying and STAYING where she wants though.........she cowers alot when i come up to her. i haven't seen anything but a sweet dog who definitely has ENERGY and zip in her do-dah!! been thinking about you..........will try a buzz ya soon. hugs to the boy!
