Bad scare

When we came back from an errand we must have scared the dogs, they were sleeping in their cages and Brother jumped up and barked. Later I noticed he was favoring one hind foot. I checked him out from hip to thigh elboe, and ankle, but no it was his last toe on one foot, was tender. I put some ointment on it and it was just fine and he's running around like always....figure he caught it in the wire, he's kinda jumpy compared to Bud being laid back. It scared me so bad my wallet turned white.....It was just such a surprise.

He is the excitable one, guard dog type. They do worry you, just like kids do. I looked a pic on the site from injuries and their repairs and they scare ya a little when the old boy pulls up lame....but he's fine and frisky with even the zoomies this evening.
