Bad dog Quigley.

Margie has taught Quigley how to open the outer door to get outside. It wasn't a problem because if they got out to the fanced back yard, they'd just hang out. (It hasn't been hot. 73 degrees today.) However, it seems that the latch to the outer door in the front has broken and I heard it open and close. Quigley had spotted a squirrel stolen and abandoned half green tomato and he wanted it. He didn't try to run away but he bit it and crunched it and now it's gone.

So now we have to keep the inner doors shut so he doesn't go out an steal food. Bad dog.

I had a dog that could open any unlocked door

She and the other 2 dogs I had were always escaping. Drove me nuts. When I finally got into the habit of always locking the exterior doors, I routinely locked myself out of the house. So, I had about a dozen keys made and left them hidden around the property.

Once they figure out how entertaining it is on the other side of the door, there is no stopping them. Have fun

Hugs to the bugs

Well, we're getting the door fixed AND

they won't want to go out so much in the Minnesota winter.

LOL! Oh Lynn, what a great mental image!

Hope it was at least in the summer when you got locked out the most!

Oh my, naughty Quigley! He must be related to Sophia!

It must be a Bulldog thing, opening closed or partially closed doors:-)
