Pink face

Ronnie's face has been extremely pink for the past few weeks even tho I have gradually changed his food to hypo allergenic, he also has raw meat. He has been vets and the vets hasn't said it was a problem, he does love the heater so maybe it's that, any ideas ?

What kind of food did you change him to?

It could be allergies.  If it doesn't bother him, I wouldn't worry about it.  Some of the foods that are labeled 'hypoallergenic' are full of things that can make allergies worse.  I feed a grain free, limited ingredient food to my guys (fish or duck with sweet potato).

Well...

look for a food that has limited ingredients, a protein (fish, duck, etc), a carbohydrate (sweet potato, regular potato) and no corn, wheat, barley, rice, oatmeal, or any kind of grains.  I'm sure your brands are all different there, we use Natural Balance here in the states.  If this just started, it could be the time of the year too.  For instance, it's spring here and our grass is germinating and all three of my guys are spending a lot of time licking their paws because they are itchy.
