We have plenty of mint growing on the side of our yard and we still have a ton of wasps and bees. I've never rubbed it on the dog's coat. The only thing that works for me is wasp spray on the suckers.....I hate them. We've gone to the vet three times since I've had bulldogs get stung. Lucky for me I'm 5 minutes away and I call first and tell them to have the shots ready. Last time they had to give my girl a ice cold bath to get her temp down. It spiked up to 105.
